Pressing Instructions for a Professional Finish
Achieve a flawless look by following these easy steps to apply your patch:
- Position Your Patch: Secure the patch to your garment using Thermal Tape (heat-resistant tape). Place the patch in your desired location and ensure it stays in place during pressing.
- Load the Garment Face Down: Flip the garment so the patch faces downward, touching the lower plate of the heat press. This ensures the glue on the back of the patch melts and adheres properly without affecting the visible side.
- Press:
- Place a Protective Guard Sheet over the garment.
- Press at 325°F for 20 seconds with 70-80 PSI (hard pressure).
- Remove the garment from the press and let it cool for 30 seconds before peeling off the thermal tape.
- For Thicker Fabrics (Hoodies, Jackets, etc.): If the patch doesn’t fully adhere, flip the garment inside out and press again with the back of the patch facing up. Cover with parchment paper and press at 325°F for 20 seconds with 70-80 PSI.
